Congladulation to our 2002/3 winner James (Hammy) Hamilton

All club members are entitled to play games which count towards their position on the ladder.

Any member may play any other member as many times as they like, but all the games must be played at the club.

Games should be played according the current version of whichever rules are used, DBA, DBM, DBR, WAB, WHF, 40K, HFG?, HoTT,

Game results will need to be defined in terms of the 5 VP’s per army system used in DBM and DBR, giving a VP range between 10-0 and 0-10. A player’s current ladder score is the total number of VP’s achieved divided by 4 or the number of games played if more.

Games must be between armies of equal points and can have multiple players per side, all players on each side receiving the resulting VP’s.

Armies must be valid according to current army list books.

Victory points (VP’s) should be determined according the rules given in the rule books.

The results of a game (players and VP’s) should be given to the ladder maintainer (Geoff Pearson).

The up-to-date version of the ladder will be printed and posted in the club every Monday (if I can!).

Calculating Victory Points

All scores will be totalled then divide by 4 or the number of games played if more than 4 has been played

DBM/DBR

Use the standard VP calculating method given in the rule book.

DBA

The 12 element army is worth 5 VP’s. For each enemy element destroyed add 1 VP. For each friendly element lost deduct 1 VP. Add a further 1 VP if the enemy general is destroyed or if you occupy the enemy camp and deduct a further 1 VP if your own general is lost or your camp is occupied by the enemy.

Hordes of the Things

Ideally use the mass battle rules and use the 5 VP’s per army system from DBM or DBR. If using the standard system each 24 AP army is worth 5 VP’s. For every 3 enemy AP’s destroyed add 1 VP. For every 3 friendly AP’s lost deduct 1 VP. Add a further 1 VP if the enemy general is destroyed or the enemy stronghold is captured and deduct a further 1 VP if your own general is lost or your stronghold is captured.

Warhammer Ancient Battles, Warhammer Fantasy Battles, Warmaster, Warhammer 40K

Game type and set up can be any of those given in the rule book. Calculate the points for each side at the end of the game, according to the rules given in the rule book. Take the loser’s points from the winner’s, express resulting number as a percentage of the total army points used by both sides and consult the following table:
