25mm DBMM competition in Wellington 19-20th August 2006 at Call to Arms
The organisers of Call to Arms have agreed to hold a 25mm DBMM
"competition" at their event, August 19-20.

The catch is that they want a minimum of 6 entries to put it on, so if
there's any "wanna-be/wanna-look" DBMM'ers out there who would like to
have a crack at the rules please help make up the numbers!

As always CtA is being held by the Wellington Warlords (
www.warlords.org.nz) at St Patrick's High School gym in Kilbirne,
Wellington.

Details/Rules:

4 rounds - 4 hrs/game on Saturday (9am start, 1 hr for lunch), 3.5 hrs
on Sunday as they have to be finished by 4pm ("official" 8.30 start, 3
minute lunch)

Using whatever version of DBMM is most current as of 20 July.

400AP from DBM books 1-4 (it's a pretty safe assumption there will be no
DBMM lists available by then), but using whatever points system is in
place for DBMM as of 20 July.

Players can use up to 4 different armies over the weekend, nominating in
advance of the competition which army for which round.

You must use all the DBMM options for your list - specific generals must
be Brilliant or inert if you use them e.g. Hannibal's army in Africa
must be commanded by Hannibal who must be brilliant, Burgundian Ordnance
can only be commanded by Charles the Bold who must be inert (as of the
time of writing).

Any other generals can be inert or brilliant at the player's choice, and
paid for as such.

Army selection must accompany registration, but lists will be accepted
up to the start of the competition.

Tables, Terrain:
Tables will be 8 foot x 6 foot (2.4m x 1.8m), bring your own terrain and
base cloth.
