The competition is for teams of two player's with armies of 450pts. The rules to be used are WRG DBM ver 2.1 (terrain setup as 2.1) except as modified below.
The valid armies are contained in BOOKS 1 1st Ed and BOOK 2,3, and 4 2nd Ed of the DBM army
list (with amendments or replacements which are available up to 15 days before each round of the competition) except as modified below.
THE ARMIES LISTS MUST INDICATE
1) Troop type, individual value, number of elements of that type used and total value.
2) The different commands and which troops they contain, including baggage.
3) Command and army demoralisation levels.
4) Which army class it is, which book it is from and its date and variant.
ARMIES TO BE IN THREE CLASSES
Class 1 =226AP to 450AP of restricted troop types, (see below)
Class 2 =01AP to 225AP of restricted troop types, (see below)
Class 3 =(****) to 000AP, (see below)
RESTRICTED TROOP TYPES
Restricted troop types are ELEMENTS of :- Bw(X) & Bw(S), Knights, Cavalry(S), Calmelry(S) and Art(F).
(include Command Elements if they are Classed as Restricted troop types.)
**** If an army has ONLY COMMAND ELEMENTS as the restricted troop types and no other restricted troop type within the army it will be classed as a CLASS 3 army ****.
EACH TEAM MUST USE ONE OF THE 3 CLASSES OF ARMIES OVER THE 5 ROUNDS, ALSO ONE OF YOUR ARMIES MUST ONLY HAVE IRREGULAR and or REGULAR ALLIED GENERAL'S (E.g. so you cannot interchange your PIP dice from command to command).
5% of the teams final score will be deducted for each compulsory class note used.

All monies received will be used for trophies, admission fees, publicity, tables etc, and nothing else.
SCORING SYSTEM
In the competition game each army is worth 5 victory points (VP), 1 VP is assigned to each Sub or Ally general's command, the remainder to the C-in-C's command.
BONUS VICTORY POINTS
Winning Players
1. Winning players of a lower class army will receive the difference between the classes of the two armies.
E.g. class 3 beats class 1 gets 2 points extra only, or class 2 beats a class 1 gets only 1 point extra (1 or 2 BONUS VICTORY POINTS (BVP) extra only not per command demoralized).
2. Winning players, who inflict five times but less than Six times the number of casualties(Destroyed/lost only) than they received will receive an extra +one BVP (E.g. loser only kill's 2 EE's but the winner kill's 11 EE's then thats five times the EE's but less than six)
3. Winning players, who inflict six times or over the number of casualties(Destroyed/lost only) than they received will receive an extra +two BVP's (E.g. loser only kill's 2 EE's but the winner kill's 13 EE's then thats six times the EE's)
Losing Players
4. Losing players, who inflict the same number of casualties(Destroyed/lost only) as they received will receive an extra +one BVP. (E.g. loser kill's 9 EE's but the winner only kill's 9 EE's then thats the same)
5. Losing players, who inflict 25% more than, but less than 50% more, then number of casualties (Destroyed/lost only) than they received will receive a extra +two BVP's. (E.g. loser kill's 9 EE's but the winner only kill's 6 EE's then thats more than 25% more but less than 50%)
6. Losing players, who inflict more than 50% the number of casualties(Destroyed/lost only) than they received will receive a extra +three BVP's. (E.g. loser kill's 12 EE's but the winner only kill's 5 EE's then thats more than 50% more)
7. Any game with no commands demoralized/destroyed, do not count casualties and do not get any extra BVP for that game.
CASUALTIES:- are those elements destroyed/lost in close combat, shooting combat or who have left the table for any reason. Demoralization only count as killed if destroyed or left the table.
Placings per round will be calculated on points scored

Players to arrive at the theatre at 10.00am to start the first game at 10.30am, refreshments are available at the club canteen.
ROUND 2 Saturday 24th JUNE 2000 at FIASCO Show , Leeds at the Armley Leisure Centre, Carr Croft, Armley Leeds.
Players to arrive at hall at 08.30am to start the first game at 09.00am.
ROUND 3 Saturday 2nd SEPTEMBER 2000 at the Border Reiver Show at The Newcastle Telwest Arena,on the edge of centre near central Station,
Booking in at 8.30am, frist games to start at 9.00am.
ROUND 4 Sunday 15th OCTOBER 2000 at Rotherham Wargames Club
at the meeting Room, Cross Keys Pub Rotherham.Players to arrive at the Cross Keys Pub at 09.30am to start the first game at 10.00am, the landlord provides very good meals at £2.50 also bar (downstairs) open at noon.
ROUND 5 Saturday 2nd DECEMBER 2000 at RECON 2000 show, Pudsey Civic Hall Leeds,(off the A6110)
